 Digital Tools for Teachers

1. During content development

a. Tips in using google search - using the advanced search

    Google advanced search feature lets you narrow down the search results to specific file types, such as . GIF, . PNG, . PPT, etc. If you do not write the file format in front of this operator, Google will show links to all the files related to the search query.

b. Important websites for sources of content

c. Publishing content through blogger or google sites 

    You can publish your lesson and share it online using this following tools. All you  will be needing is a gmail account. However, our Deped google account cannot be used in accessing its blogger feature.

2. During delivery

There are several tools that teachers can use to make their online lesson delivery more interactive here are some suggestions.

a. KAHOOT  

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools and other educational institutions. Its learning games, "kahoots", are user-generated multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot app.

This is an exciting app for students especially during the motivation part of the lesson.

b. SLIDO  

Slido is an online interactive polling and questions platform that allows teachers to directly interact with a class, both in the room and online.

c. GOOGLE JAMBOARD

Jamboard is an interactive whiteboard application offered by Google Workspace. Jamboard allows you to work interactively with students and colleagues, similarly to other applications in Google Workspace, where you can collaborate simultaneously on the same Jam. The Jamboard application takes you to a blank canvas where you can flip through multiple frames and use the toolbar found on the left. The toolbar offers a variety of functions to use such as pen and erase for drawing as well as being able to add images, sticky notes, text boxes and different shapes. Additionally, you can use the select and laser tools for presenting. The Jamboard application is advertised by Google Workspace as a tool to use for real-time group collaboration with team members from anywhere in the world.

3. During evaluation

    There are online tools that can be used in creating online quizzes one of the best tool that can be used is Google Forms


Google Forms

    Google Forms is free online software that allows you to create surveys, quizzes, and it's part of Google's web-based apps suite, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and more. It's a versatile tool that can be used for various applications, from gathering RSVPs for an event to creating a pop quiz.

Quiz analytics in Google Forms

    One significant feature of google forms is its analytics. It automatically generate important charts of the results of the quiz.
